Jed looks like the world's biggest Shetland pony but he is really a foundation bred Quarter Horse. He has been a champion team penning/sorting horse, a favorite turn back horse at the cuttings, a working ranch horse in the cow pens and pastures, and a boy's best friend. Equine Senior has enabled Jed to maintain a figure which has prompted more than one person to remark, "when is your colt due?" My son, Jed's owner, died last year after a long battle with cancer. When he was not feeling well but still wanted to compete Jed took extra care of him and allowed him to get away from his illness for a time. Jed is a very special family member.
